Patrol Division

The most visible members of the Wagoner Police Department are the Patrol Officers. Included in this division are Traffic Enforcement, Narcotics Officers, and Reserve Officers. It is the mission of the patrol division of the Wagoner Police Department to serve the community of Wagoner with the highest respect, integrity, and professionalism possible. The patrol division consists of 16 sworn Patrol Officers, and 12 Reserve Officers who cover shifts 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Criminal Investigations Division

The Criminal Investigations Division of the Wagoner Police Department have 2 full time Detectives. Detectives of the Criminal Investigation Division combat crime by conducting prompt and diligent investigations. Detectives maximize the use of all available technological resources and traditional methods to solve crimes, track down and apprehend suspects, accomplices and fugitives, as well as to locate missing persons, recover stolen property and violent crimes.

Communications and Corrections

The Wagoner Police Department Communications/Correction Division is comprised of 4 full-time and 2 part-time Communication/Correction Officers. They are responsible for answering E911 calls and the non-emergency lines, as well as maintaining the daily operations of the City of Wagoner Jail. They are responsible for dispatching Officers to calls of service and dispatching the City of Wagoner Fire Department to fire-related calls. They also dispatch for some of the surrounding rural fire-related calls, after hours dispatch for City of Wagoner Utilities and Animal Control as well as many other behind-the-scenes functions.
